Divine Service on Christmas Day was extra special this year, with the baptism of two babies and the first use of the long-awaited new hymnals.

Cristo Para Todas Las Naciones- Uruguay director Gabi (future deaconess student) gave the welcome to the 40 women who attended the annual Ladies' Tea event at which we talked about Identity. Most of those in attendance are not members of the church, so please pray that God would use these points of contact for us to share the Gospel in the future.

Two days before Christmas, the Lutheran Church of Uruguay received a great gift -- 500 copies of Himnario Luterano! Pictured here are the men who moved all the boxes after picking them up in Montevideo following their long journey from the printer in Thailand. Thank you to The Luther-an Heritage Foundation and all who gave gener-ously to make this teaching, devotional, and worship resource possible.

Over the holidays, Pastor Phil was down a hand due to a fracture. We thank God for wonderful medical care and healing for his hand, and for all who have prayed for him during this setback. He remained in good spirits and we're pictured here after the Christmas Eve English language service that Pastors Phil and James conducted. What a blessing to receive God's Word in our heart language!
