Anniversary Weekend Reminders!

Our 125th Anniversary weekend has finally arrived! 
God grant us a memorable celebration!

A few important reminders:

  • There is ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 10 AM this Sunday!  There will be NO BIBLE STUDY OR SUNDAY SCHOOL.  If you come to church at 8:00 or 9:15, you will be very early for the 10 AM service! 

  • Saturday's banquet at Valley Brook begins at 5:00 with a fellowship and cocktail hour.  There will be an extensive display of Zion photos and keepsakes from the early years of our church, plus many other enjoyable experiences throughout the evening.

  • Sunday's carnival immediately follows the combined worship service.  This is a "RAIN OR SHINE" event on Zion's back lawn.  We have extra-large tents set up in the event of inclement weather.

The heart and soul of our worship is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God comes to us in worship to forgive our sins, strengthen our faith, and equip us for the challenges and opportunities for the week ahead. Our worship times are 8:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a Bible Study for adults and Sunday School for children of all ages at 9:30. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at both services every week. Sunday morning worship is the highlight of the week at Zion Lutheran Church!!! We hope you will be able to join us! Each Wednesday this year (2014), we also have a 7:00 p.m. service. This service is shorter than our weekend service, in order to accommodate families with young children.
