Focus on Fellowship

Zion's 4th Annual Refor-Fest was held on Sunday, Oct. 28th. Guests enjoyed a traditional catered meal of pork, haluski, potato pancakes, pierogies, sauerkraut, German sausage, beer, soft drinks, cookies and more. Doug Krantz entertained diners with his accordion, and Pastor officiated his Famous Bingo with fantastic prizes! Young children decorated pumpkins, filled treat bags for the needy (who visit Jubilee Kitchen), and joined other guests at the Guessing Jars table, the Guess the Pumpkin Weight table, and Pastor's Bingo game. “Martin Luther” mingled with the crowd, and all enjoyed the celebration commemorating Luther’s posting of the 95 Theses on the Wittenberg Church door way back in 1517.

This event is hosted by the Events Committee, co-chaired by Deborah Sterba and Megan Pasquini. Please contact Megan (meganpasquini@hotmail.com) or Deborah Sterba (djsporty1200@gmail.com) if interested in helping with events.

Zion ladies gathered Friday, Oct. 25th, to play some friendly BOOO-nco and enjoy good fellowship, tasty appetizers and desserts! For information about the Women's Ministry at Zion, please contact Tracey Harris (tharris@zlcb.org) or Tevia Grimenstein

Zion Lutheran Church
The heart and soul of our worship is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God comes to us in worship to forgive our sins, strengthen our faith, and equip us for the challenges and opportunities for the week ahead. Our worship times are 8:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a Bible Study for adults and Sunday School for children of all ages at 9:30. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at both services every week. Sunday morning worship is the highlight of the week at Zion Lutheran Church!!! We hope you will be able to join us! Each Wednesday this year (2014), we also have a 7:00 p.m. service. This service is shorter than our weekend service, in order to accommodate families with young children. If you have any questions about our worship, please e-mail or call our Pastor: pastor@zlcb.org 412-667-0967
