Concordia Adds Senior Living Community in Bridgeville

Concordia of Bridgeville

Concordia Lutheran Ministries added a new community to its family of locations and services on May 10, 2024: Concordia of Bridgeville. The beautiful 15.8-acre community (formerly known as Country Meadows Retirement Communities South Hills) offers supportive retirement living, personal care and memory care. Concordia of Bridgeville is part of the Concordia of Monroeville corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Concordia Lutheran Ministries. Chris James is the executive director for Concordia of Bridgeville. Concordia plans to honor all resident contracts and obligations. As a nonprofit organization, Concordia also plans to modify admissions standards to accept additional residents and intends to subsidize more people at the location. Last year, Concordia provided charitable care to hundreds of residents system-wide who have outlived their resources.

Concordia Lutheran Ministries President and CEO Keith Frndak said, “Concordia of Bridgeville is a beautiful community with great residents and team members. Providing high-quality care, an excellent employee culture and financial stability are three of our main goals at all our locations, and we look forward to serving the Bridgeville area for many years to come.”

Since 2009, 11 senior care/living facilities and several home health and hospice agencies have joined the Concordia family. Concordia has worked to expand its faith-based mission and become a “Christian consolidator” in the industry, to protect and preserve organizations with Christian roots and to aid in the long-term support of Christian health care ministries.Concordia is a Recognized Service Organization of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). Sixteen LCMS members and pastors comprise Concordia’s Parent Board of Directors and represent 27 regional LCMS member churches. Zion Lutheran Church
The heart and soul of our worship is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God comes to us in worship to forgive our sins, strengthen our faith, and equip us for the challenges and opportunities for the week ahead. Our worship times are 8:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a Bible Study for adults and Sunday School for children of all ages at 9:30. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at both services every week. Sunday morning worship is the highlight of the week at Zion Lutheran Church!!! We hope you will be able to join us! Each Wednesday this year (2014), we also have a 7:00 p.m. service. This service is shorter than our weekend service, in order to accommodate families with young children. If you have any questions about our worship, please e-mail or call our Pastor: pastor@zlcb.org 412-667-0967
