Pioneer on the Lake Summer Camping Season

Pioneer on the Lake -- the new name for Camp Pioneer in Angola, NY -- is in the midst of its summer camping season 

This is the 3rd year of Pioneer's “New Beginning!” Several years ago, the future for the beloved Lutheran camp appeared bleak and the financial situation was dire. All those who had enjoyed Pioneer since it's beginnings in the 1940s wanted it to continue as a camp ministry, but the question we asked was – how? This prime piece of lakefront property most likely would have been snatched up by developers, and the vision of its original founders to use the property as a tool for outdoor ministry would have been defeated. But God heard our prayers and rescued Pioneer! Now we stand on the threshold of not only existing, but thriving. Praise God for His constant help and mercy!
