VICTOR E. HERSCHAFT
Age 80, of North Strabane, on February 3, 2017. Devoted husband of the late Jackie (Hatala) Herschaft; loving father of Jodi L. (Tim) Fitzgerald, Victor A. (Kim) Herschaft and Tim A. Herschaft; beloved brother of Etta “EJ” Meehan and the late Richard Herschaft; proud grandfather of Tim, Jared, Mitchell and Jennifer Fitzgerald, Katie (Tony) Sturgis and Victor J. (Amber) Herschaft and great grandfather of Myles Herschaft. Victor served as a volunteer fireman. He enjoyed playing sports, coaching his sons through the years and was always present to cheer for his grandchildren. He was a head elder at Zion Lutheran Church for many years, he worked as an elevator mechanic and loved vacationing at the Outer Banks with his family. Friends received on Wednesday from 2-8PM, at the Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412.221.3333). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, 12 noon, at Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
