Obituary from Warchol Funeral Home
Lois Marie (Eperthener) Sauro, 94 years old, of Bridgeville, passed away on Saturday, April 3rd. Lois was the beloved daughter of A. Leo Eperthener and Clarissa Eperthener. Lois had a kind and gentle heart, which made for a natural transition to caring for children in her later years. She is survived by Lauren Sapienza, and the Sapienza family, who became her family after spending 12 years working and caring for them. She was a very active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bridgeville, where she sang in the choir, helped organize holiday activities and was on the evangelical and welcome committees. Lois enjoyed games and the network of friends who joined her in organizing and playing cards, bingo, bowling and board games. She was a talented artist and played the piano by ear and generously shared her artwork, crocheted afghans and songs. She was loved by many and will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, strength, independence, patience, responsibility and humility. She will be dearly missed. Friends received Thursday, 9:30 am to 10:00 am, at Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeviile, at which time a service will be held at 10 am. If desired, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Chuch in Lois’s name. Arrangements by Warchol Funeral Home, Inc. (412-221-3333).

Zion Lutheran Church
The heart and soul of our worship is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God comes to us in worship to forgive our sins, strengthen our faith, and equip us for the challenges and opportunities for the week ahead. Our worship times are 8:00 and 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a Bible Study for adults and Sunday School for children of all ages at 9:30. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated at both services every week. Sunday morning worship is the highlight of the week at Zion Lutheran Church!!! We hope you will be able to join us! Each Wednesday this year (2014), we also have a 7:00 p.m. service. This service is shorter than our weekend service, in order to accommodate families with young children. If you have any questions about our worship, please e-mail or call our Pastor: pastor@zlcb.org 412-667-0967
